Think of Moving?

Airports:
  • CLE is about 15 minutes from downtown and 25-30 minutes from the Jewish community.  It's a focus city for Frontier, Spirit, and United.
  • The RTA (Rapid transit train) at Brookpark station has free parking and is just 1 train stop (3 minutes) to the stop inside the airport. The train costs $2.50 and the schedule is here: http://www.riderta.com/routes/redline/schedules/current#WestboundWeekday
An uber from Brookpark station to CLE is about $10.
  • Uber between the Jewish community and CLE is about $30.
  • CLE off-site parking is about $9/day, on-site parking is $17-$22/day, and curbside valet parking is $35/day.
  • CAK is ~40 minutes from the Jewish community and located nearby the NFL Hall of Fame.
  • Uber between the Jewish community and CAK is about $45.

  • The nicest hotel in Cleveland is like the Ritz-Carlton downtown. Marriott's Metropolitan at The 9 is also highly regarded, with a bar in an old vault. There is also a Hilton, Westin, and Kimpton downtown.

Transportation:
  • There is a subway/light rail connecting the airport with downtown, University Circle (where the Case campus and many museums are) and the Jewish community area, but renting a car is pretty much required unless you are just going between the airport and downtown.

Hyatt Place coming to Legacy Village!

Eruv ends just before LV. Hopefully they won't have a hard time extending it.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Relatively yes. Some are much nicer than others.
The one at LGA I found to be a step above the others

The one at LGA was nice, but I didn't find it to be significantly nicer than many of the others that I've stayed at. The room felt a bit tighter than others (typical for a hotel in NYC) but the rooftop with the pool and workout room was nice. Overall on par.

both meadowlands/NJ and baltimore/BWI have a great one with a friendly staff;
what's also great is the Hyatt House -- for the same # of points you can get a King/Double Suite with sep room and sofa bed for 2-3 children. Full kitchen, full-size fridge, stove-top, microwave, sink, coffee-maker, breakfast, etc...

If I go downtown it's for a sports game.  Those don't generally happen on weekdays between 730a-230p.

I get that I'm not in the target market. Hope there are enough people who are.
