Think of Moving?

Airports:
  • CLE is about 15 minutes from downtown and 25-30 minutes from the Jewish community.  It's a focus city for Frontier, Spirit, and United.
  • The RTA (Rapid transit train) at Brookpark station has free parking and is just 1 train stop (3 minutes) to the stop inside the airport. The train costs $2.50 and the schedule is here: http://www.riderta.com/routes/redline/schedules/current#WestboundWeekday
An uber from Brookpark station to CLE is about $10.
  • Uber between the Jewish community and CLE is about $30.
  • CLE off-site parking is about $9/day, on-site parking is $17-$22/day, and curbside valet parking is $35/day.

  • The nicest hotel in Cleveland is like the Ritz-Carlton downtown. Marriott's Metropolitan at The 9 is also highly regarded, with a bar in an old vault. There is also a Hilton, Westin, and Kimpton downtown.

Transportation:
  • There is a subway/light rail connecting the airport with downtown, University Circle (where the Case campus and many museums are) and the Jewish community area, but renting a car is pretty much required unless you are just going between the airport and downtown.

Lol, the city wins most miserable in the nation, the suburbs win the best in the nation.
I don't think there are any Jews that actually live in the city of Cleveland.  Definitely no frum jews in the city limits, we're all in the suburbs.

Go in the morning for donuts when they are good and fresh.
Kinneret is always a big YMMV.  Sometimes awesome, sometimes awful.

Doesn't exist.

-Contempo Cuisine makes great steaks, but the ambiance is just OK, maybe 3/5.
-Subway is Subway.  The original and best of the kosher joints, but nothing fancy.
-Jerusalem Grill makes pretty good chinese and shnitzel, but ambiance is 2/5.
-Sababa makes merely mediocre food but may have the best ambiance at 3.5/5.
-And then there's the 2 pizza shops (Kinneret and Issi's) which are good but nothing fancy.
-The Bagel Shoppe makes top notch bagels, but the ambiance is not good.

Probably.  But don't expect anything above passable in the ambiance department.
Also they are only open for dinner and are closed on Mondays.

Huh? Subway is still kosher.  You must be thinking about the one in Baltimore.

Abba's was awesome.  A real shame that they knocked down that whole shopping mall together with Yacov's.  Those were my 2 favorite restaurants in town.

There was a Ruchama's in the JCC and Ruchama's Singapore on Warrensville.  They weren't bad.
