Think of Moving?

Airports:
  • CLE is about 15 minutes from downtown and 25-30 minutes from the Jewish community.  It's a focus city for Frontier, Spirit, and United.
  • The RTA (Rapid transit train) at Brookpark station has free parking and is just 1 train stop (3 minutes) to the stop inside the airport. The train costs $2.50 and the schedule is here: http://www.riderta.com/routes/redline/schedules/current#WestboundWeekday
An uber from Brookpark station to CLE is about $10.
  • Uber between the Jewish community and CLE is about $30.
  • CLE off-site parking is about $9/day, on-site parking is $17-$22/day, and curbside valet parking is $35/day.
  • CAK is ~40 minutes from the Jewish community and located nearby the NFL Hall of Fame.
  • Uber between the Jewish community and CAK is about $45.

Hotels:

  • The nicest hotel in Cleveland is like the Ritz-Carlton downtown. Marriott's Metropolitan at The 9 is also highly regarded, with a bar in an old vault. There is also a Hilton, Westin, and Kimpton downtown.

Transportation:
  • There is a subway/light rail connecting the airport with downtown, University Circle (where the Case campus and many museums are) and the Jewish community area, but renting a car is pretty much required unless you are just going between the airport and downtown.

pretty much fun-n-stuff is great! For all ages. They have arcades, later tag, mini golf, rock climbing, roller skating, mini gokarts for the little ones, regular go karts, bumper boats, batting cages, and of course crappy prizes :) they also have a lunch area you can use. How old are the kids will everyone be together at all times? Boating is an idea, animal safari, loads of great hikes, whirly ball would be a special treat for older kids  If you get more specific I can help you out more...

Well, -1 and +1  ???

-1 because they weren't so great to begin with. I personally never even went there because my wife (a native Clevelander) was about as interested in the place as people are in reading the EULA of a new software program.

+1 because after all is said and done, any blow to the already-small CLE kosher scene is drastic. :( Plus I heard they were they only place to get a half-decent steak...

Hey Clevelanders, I am going to be in Cleveland for a day for an interview at Case Western, If my interview ends at 6:00 pm and my flight is at 8:35 pm Is there any realistic chance of swinging by a fleishig eatery to grab a sandwich to go before the flight? Any recommendations on what will be open and what is delicious?
Thanks a bunch in advance!

Very doubtful IMO It's 20 min. minimum to a restaurant and then they have to cook it then 30 min. to the airport. If you order before you probably can take to go. Are you interviewing for the MED school? A member on here was accepted for next year. You may want his advice for interviews...

Sure.
Case is 10 minutes to Kinneret Pizza, 15 minutes to Sababa/Jerusalem Grill/Issi's, and 20 minutes to Subway.
Bagel Shoppe will be closed.
The airport is about 35 minutes from Kinneret, 30 minutes from Sababa/Jerusalem Grill/Issi's, and 25 minutes from Subway.

If you order in advance there's no reason you can't be at the airport by 7:15.
