Think of Moving?

Airports:
  • CLE is about 15 minutes from downtown and 25-30 minutes from the Jewish community.  It's a focus city for Frontier, Spirit, and United.
  • The RTA (Rapid transit train) at Brookpark station has free parking and is just 1 train stop (3 minutes) to the stop inside the airport. The train costs $2.50 and the schedule is here: http://www.riderta.com/routes/redline/schedules/current#WestboundWeekday
An uber from Brookpark station to CLE is about $10.
  • Uber between the Jewish community and CLE is about $30.
  • CLE off-site parking is about $9/day, on-site parking is $17-$22/day, and curbside valet parking is $35/day.

  • The nicest hotel in Cleveland is like the Ritz-Carlton downtown. Marriott's Metropolitan at The 9 is also highly regarded, with a bar in an old vault. There is also a Hilton, Westin, and Kimpton downtown.

Transportation:
  • There is a subway/light rail connecting the airport with downtown, University Circle (where the Case campus and many museums are) and the Jewish community area, but renting a car is pretty much required unless you are just going between the airport and downtown.

So Dan which Cholent got your vote? :D IMO some of the entries had no business calling themselves cholent!
I thought 3, 5, 6, and 1 were best in roughly that order.
Though I came back for more of 3 when the public was let in and all the kishke was gone so it wasn't as good.

Sounds like you need to be in Cleveland to know this stuff not Yerushalaim or NY. Kind of insiders only.

My wife's family is from Cleveland, but thanks.

If it were on the radar, I would've heard of it by now.

FTFY
Not that searching would bring someone there, but East Cleveland and Cleveland Heights other side of Taylor would be considered dangerous...
