Think of Moving?

Airports:
  • CLE is about 15 minutes from downtown and 25-30 minutes from the Jewish community.  It's a focus city for Frontier, Spirit, and United.
  • The RTA (Rapid transit train) at Brookpark station has free parking and is just 1 train stop (3 minutes) to the stop inside the airport. The train costs $2.50 and the schedule is here: http://www.riderta.com/routes/redline/schedules/current#WestboundWeekday
An uber from Brookpark station to CLE is about $10.
  • Uber between the Jewish community and CLE is about $30.
  • CLE off-site parking is about $9/day, on-site parking is $17-$22/day, and curbside valet parking is $35/day.
  • CAK is ~40 minutes from the Jewish community and located nearby the NFL Hall of Fame.
  • Uber between the Jewish community and CAK is about $45.

  • The nicest hotel in Cleveland is like the Ritz-Carlton downtown. Marriott's Metropolitan at The 9 is also highly regarded, with a bar in an old vault. There is also a Hilton, Westin, and Kimpton downtown.

Transportation:
  • There is a subway/light rail connecting the airport with downtown, University Circle (where the Case campus and many museums are) and the Jewish community area, but renting a car is pretty much required unless you are just going between the airport and downtown.

What's Park East Synagogue?
Park Synagogue http://www.parksyn.org/ as described on their website it is "a modern Conservative synagogue." I have no idea what the difference is between conservative, modern conservative, and reform.

Any recommendations for a nice (doesn't need to be anything fancy) clean hotel in the Cleveland heights - beachwood area?
Seems like with express deals on priceline I can get extended stay for about $55 or clarion for $80. Both look pretty bad.
Any other ideas?
