Think of Moving?

Airports:
  • CLE is about 15 minutes from downtown and 25-30 minutes from the Jewish community.  It's a focus city for Frontier, Spirit, and United.
  • The RTA (Rapid transit train) at Brookpark station has free parking and is just 1 train stop (3 minutes) to the stop inside the airport. The train costs $2.50 and the schedule is here: http://www.riderta.com/routes/redline/schedules/current#WestboundWeekday
An uber from Brookpark station to CLE is about $10.
  • Uber between the Jewish community and CLE is about $30.
  • CLE off-site parking is about $9/day, on-site parking is $17-$22/day, and curbside valet parking is $35/day.

  • The nicest hotel in Cleveland is like the Ritz-Carlton downtown. Marriott's Metropolitan at The 9 is also highly regarded, with a bar in an old vault. There is also a Hilton, Westin, and Kimpton downtown.

Transportation:
  • There is a subway/light rail connecting the airport with downtown, University Circle (where the Case campus and many museums are) and the Jewish community area, but renting a car is pretty much required unless you are just going between the airport and downtown.

It was cute but you'd be much better off food-wise going to the Bagel Shoppe.
Is the bagel shoppe open currently? It looks like that whole strip is under construction.

I am going to be heading to Cleveland next year for a weekend to watch Lebron and the Cavs. I just bought 4 Cavs season tickets! I will go to a game, and then hang around in Cleveland, and hopefully find some other exciting things to do. I will head down with some Avios. It should be a nice short vacation for this upcoming year.

Looking forward. Lets go Cleveland, and the Cavs.

lol did you get full season or partial? I put 2 deposits down.

I joined the "wine gold and united club" for 200 per set of tickets. So in total, I will get 4 tickets. I need to call tomorrow to select which section I want.

Interestingly, they are only selling partial ticket plans to those with an Ohio zip code.

Does anyone know the best value for season tickets in Quicken Loans arena? I used to be in the ticket business in NY, and it's crazy how much cheaper the tickets are in Cleveland. I am thinking of getting one set as a "baseline straight sections" (6160), and then another set as well. If there are any Cavs fans who know the arena well, please chime in. Thanks in advance for your help, and perhaps next year we can have a DO at a Cavs game.
