Singapore airlines old phone number has been hijacked by scammers as now advised on their website (why they can't do something about it is beyond me)
I "cancelled" a Singapore award ticket and was charged 100 to cancel. I realized straight after call I had been scammed (if I would have paid more attention I probably would have realized earlier but was multi tasking) and reservation hadn't been touched.
It had been a united flight and they obviously quickly check the confirmation code by all major airlines to try find it. So they charged the Cc as "united airlines" and they obviously couldn't touch it since was booked by sq.
I disputed the charge. They now had the cheek to call back to see they charge had been disputed and why that is and how we can resolve the issue !!
P.s whoever wants to give them some of their own medicine and has spare time can make some phony calls just don't give Cc. . It's quite interesting to see some of their tactics
