Do I need to buy a travel bag https://a.co/d/1NXS5Pd for my double stroller in order for it not to get ruined?
Someone mentioned that it gets thrown around much more than a regular stroller and much more stories of airlines breaking them
I've flown a few times w a MB duet - no bag.
ONE time we got it back with the grab bar slightly bent... otherwise always fine.
And if the airline breaks it... Which color would you like?
Which leads to my favorite airline comp story ever, not yet posted on DDf:
My chavrusa flew to England to visit his in-laws with his first baby.
Gets his CityMini
stroller buggy back, and one of the restraining straps (that holds the kid in) is torn.
Files a damage report.
Gets a call a couple of days later, "we've reviewed your claim, and it's approved, we will deliver a new stroller, what color do you want?"
Thinks quickly (wife is expecting) "Can you make it a double?"
Response "let me check I'll get back to you"
Next day - "Approved for a double, what color do you want?"
Oh and the first buggy was ok. he just needed to order a new set of straps for 12 pounds.
