well they definetly lost the element of suprise then. and the israelis keep on saying they dont want all out war, killing nasrallah would definetly be war. if this is the only response and everything else stays the same, that would be hezbollah getting off easy

I don’t think there’s an element of surprise at this juncture. Once Hezbollah’s rocket hit that soccer field a significant retaliation was expected and Hezbollah has been hunkering down.

They just managed to get Deif (not confirmed dead, even if quite likely) and haven't gotten Sinwaar, among others. Not like they can just kill whoever they want whenever they want.

I’m not sure they want to kill Sinwar at this junction. I’ll be much harder to get all the hostages released in a deal if there’s nobody to facilitate their return.

And folks wonder why some of us are skeptical of the secular leaders of the state of Israel. They have mostly managed to mangle this entire war and continue to do so. Shooting themselves in the foot to placate the anti-semites over and over again. I love Eretz Yisroel but feel much distaste for the secular state of Israel. They are not an asset. (And no - I'm not neturei karta or anything close.)
