I'm pro going after Lebanon, but why would it be easier during the pager incident than the day after?
I think it makes sense to let the pager incident ger reported and famous, revel in ow targeted it is, and how even so many in the world media are not happy with it, and then tomorrow ir next week launch a standard set if booking runs etc, which is bound to result in civilian casualties, and doesn't have the same morale crushing effect as blowing up everyone's pagers

bec right when the beepers exploded there was chaos in the streets, noone knew what was happening, there regular communication methods were just knocked out, 4000-5000 of thier fighters are now not able to join in the war, there are no hospital beds for wounded hezbollah members that would get hit in the airstrikes...etc

didnt have to be exactly at 3.30 but atleast over the night...give them a a week and most will be released from hospital and they will start finding new ways to communicate and start organizing again

I think one of the big concerns people have with technology is the ability for a mass casualty event happening.

In 30 years from now, when there are billions of electric cars connected to remote software updates, can we see half the world's population decimated in a matter of seconds? All it takes is one software update...

To debate the words he uses to paint that picture, booby trapping your enemy's belongings is nothing new. Being able to mass deploy this tactic with only the enemies devices being affected and calibrating the impact to only affect the enemy and not surroundings, plus using the enemies device that they obtained to avoid such a scenario is what is cool and novel about this.
