Maybe I'm not tuned in to Middle East news, but 99% of these "senior" people that are killed are names I've never heard of

Ok, who have you heard of? Why would you know who runs Hezbollah or the various divisions of the Iranian army? Even with Hamas who we are more aware of, More of us are familiar with Hanniyeh than Daef (both dead, kein yirbu) even though Daef was far more involved with the killing of Jews.

Fair enough, but part of me wonders if this is like the 97 times that cancer has been cured in Israel. Sure seems like we have killed a lot of number 2s, though I guess that's whack a mole.
