Why was he in uniform with a gun? That just makes it more likely he'll be killed, not less.

I wasn't saying that he's a Rasha or that we shouldn't feel sorry for him and his family. I saw there was a special mention of HY"D and was questioning the insistence of putting those letters after his name when he went into a dangerous area without good reason.
