I'm taking a risk here, and posting regarding the most recent developments in the 8th (1st) front, where unfortunately it doesn't seem like there's much US backing.
I posted previously about the response by Netanyahu's lawyer to the request to speed up the trial, where he suggested that there should be a ramp-up period and then Netanyahu will continue to testify for 2 days per week, while a different witness (out of the prosecution witnesses that have not been called during the prosecution's case) testify on a third day of the same week, so the two (or more) testimonies will be heard in parallel. Netanyahu's defense team also estimated that they would need approximately 24 more days of testimony of Netanyahu.
Needless to say, the prosecution objected. The object to reducing Netanyahu's time at the stand to 2 days per week, and they object to a "vague" list of witnesses, rather than a list of names to which they can respond. They also said that any witness being heard could end up tampering with Netanyahu's testimony, even if this is a witness that was on their list.
They also keep on invoking the fact that Netanyahu claimed that he has no problem serving as prime minister while being a defendant. (as if it is their place to have any say about this, this was clearly brought to the voters, and the resounding response by the voters was that he should be Prime Minister. At the time there was no war, and the situation was very different. His job as Prime Minister obviously takes precedence over the nonsense that they are questioning him about!!!)
In a clear and outrageous violation of his rights, the judges said that Netanyahu can only have 14 more days of testimony!!! (He is responding to 315 cases in the indictment, many, or most of, which were not presented to him during his pre-indictment interrogation, meaning he was not given a chance to respond or explain!).
Netanyahu requested today a hearing behind closed doors to explain current highly confidential developments that require reducing his appearance to twice a day. Needless to say, the prosecution objects. Netanyahu says that the Defense Minister will come to explain to the judges the situation. The prosecution objects (compromise being that it will be Netanyahu's military liaison), in addition the person at the top of information security for the country, will have to be there to explain to the judges (who probably don't have security clearance themselves, let alone the prosecution team that is known for its constant leaks).
THIS IS THE #1 THREAT TO ISRAEL'S EXISTENCE. These Bolsheviks will do anything to topple Netanyahu, and to destroy any semblance of Jewish Identity. Even if it means sacrificing lives (as unfortunately seen on October 7th 2023)!
