My point is stop giving me moral equivalency here. Just stop. You know Israel is justified with all their actions this week. Don't keep on giving me how the story looks to people who want to see what they want to see. Enough.

The US may protect Israel primarily because they believe in "The Jewish Cause" but let's not pretend the US doesn't have a major geopolitical and economic interest in minimizing the influence of Iran, and propping up more Saudi friendly governments. While they may bash Israel publicly, they won't do anything significant to put Israel at a disadvantage, let alone removing their fleet and telling Iran to have fun.
