The same people shouting now about "thousands and thousands" of civilians are the same people who had an issue when it was "hundreds" or "tens" or even a single Palestinian who may or may not have been a member of Hamas. No amount of PR will fix that.

Going to repost this as it gives insight how someone not attached to the war looks at it. While it has inaccuracies the message is spot on.

I totally get how the casualties look like to a detached party.
I am not expecting anyone to be okay with it.
I am not okay with it.
What i don't understand is how the blame is not being placed squarely on Hamas.
Only Hamas can reduce the civilian casualties to 0, by surrendering.

No matter how careful Israel is, and no matter how many of their own soldiers they risk, civilians will die, that is war.
The longer the war goes own, the more innocents will die.
Hamas can end this war today.
Israel needs a little more time.

One of the main points is the two sides are entrenched in their positions and how the same word or phrase means different things to each side.

The only channel of those I follow on Telegram that mentioned it was Daniel Amram (you might remember him from the Neria Kraus fiasco), he posted it with a question mark, and just now posted that it is fake news.

Though reports are of unprecedented air and ground attacks on Gaza. One report saying that IDF indicated they are going for Hamas operations based in hospitals.
