Every civilian life lost is a tragedy. But think about this: over 12,000 targets, more than 23,000 munitions and the terrorist-civilian death ratio is about 1:1 or 1:1.5 (for every terrorist killed there is one-to-one-and-a-half civilians).

His numbers say there are between 3-5k dead civilians. Israel has taken over Northern Gaza, evacuating 1.1mm people. It has bombarded, surrounded, and are actively taking over Gaza City, which had a population of 650k and a population density greater than any US city. Possibly 3-5k dead civilians. Looks pretty targeted, considering Israel could take out that many with just a few well placed bombs.

3-5k dead civilians sounds like a reasonable estimate.

I'm not sure it's on Israel's best interest for Iran to be pulled in right now. Maybe better once Gaza operation is done.
For now US and Israeli interest coincide, and for that we should all be grateful, for now

For me I would have liked for them not to have discontinued the knock-on roof policy.
That policy really drives home the point of trying to avoid civilian casualties.

+1000 This was fine for when the purpose of air strikes seemingly was to establish or strengthen deterrence, in war this is completely counter-productive and frankly self-defeating.

If Hamas isn't letting them leave when they are being told to evacuate, what makes you think Hamas will let them leave the building after it gets roof-knocked?
