Correct. Many nazis were long deported by then. Once we were attacked Germany became the enemy. Wasn’t anything going to fuel nazism. And 10 years earlier, Jews just being alive was enough to fuel the hatred.

I don't understand any of this comparison conversation. This country is not the nearly the same as it was in the 40's, the Jewish demographics (size, religious affiliation, place in society) aren't anything alike, and the situations (Holocaust vs Hamas) are not even remotely similar.

In general, arguing hashkafa when we all follow our individual Daas Torah is stupid. We don't make the calls, we don't set the rationales, and we don't get to choose whose guidance anyone else decides to follow. There's no right or wrong. Consider it like rice on Pesach or tefilin on Chol Hamoed. Accept that there are other opinions that you don't follow and move on.

Lots of big Rabbis check it up. It’s unlikely that he’d claim to disagree with them.

He's disagreeing with a lot of big rabbis right now. And as I said before:

There is a difference between his contemporaries and the גדולי ישאל from a couple generations ago.
