The IDF is conducting a ground operation in Gaza to defeat Hamas and rescue our hostages. Israel is at war with Hamas, not with the citizens in Gaza.

The IDF forces include medical and Arabic-speaking teams, who have undergone specific training for this complex and sensitive environment, with the intention that no harm will be caused to civilians who are used by Hamas as human shields. In recent weeks, the IDF has repeatedly warned publicly that the continued military use of the Shifa Hospital jeopardizing its protected status under international law, allowing plenty of time to stop this illegal hospital abuse. Yesterday, the IDF informed the relevant authorities in Gaza once again that all military activity inside the hospital must be stopped within 12 hours. Unfortunately, this did not happen.
