Eh. If they decide the burden is too much they can just kill 100 of the hostages right now and increase the value of the remaining hostages without releasing any. Similar to the famous R’ Chaim about destroying one out of a rare set of two coins that doesn’t technically cause a loss because one surviving coin is worth what the pair was originally worth. Overlooking that ultimately, every hostage out is a life saved. It’s not hypothetical. Each life saved is just that, a life saved, not a game.

Not really. If they start killing hostages en-masse it tips the scale greatly in Israel's favor. Hamas is stupid, but not that stupid. Every hostage is a card to play, and playing 100 cards at once with the only value that you won't have to hold it anymore is foolish asf.

If I had a dollar for every time I saw this fake news I would have enough to cover the trademark application fees that were wasted. The trademark was filed last week but not registered, and wont be approved, and if somehow it slips through it won’t be enforceable.

Popular slogans are prior art and in the public domain unless the trademark registrant coined the term beforehand, and even then the rights can be lost if it becomes too popular.

I’m not sure you’re correct. Shalit costed a thousand prisoners with blood on their hands. I don’t think there’s much more value to Hamas with 240 than with 24. How does the scale tip Israel’s way if they start killing hostages? Au contrare. Killing x amount of hostages daily that a deal isn’t reached would probably up the ante for Israel tremendously.

I can see both sides of the argument on how to interpret this:
1. Giving them a win is the last thing we need.
2. We're getting what we want and giving them relative/percieved wins that we can compensate for, so it's worth it.

Ideologically I lean towards the former, but realisitically hoping for the latter considering nobody cares what I think anyway

Even if it's true when it comes to negotiations in the narrow scope, in the picture of public opinion (which people will say Hamas doesn't care about) it's definitely wrong. Hamas will be seen as forcing Israel's hand and justifying Israeli aggression compared to their slow/methodolical/humanitarian approach so far.
