I could barely believe the words coming out of your mouth saying the elected leader of another country should be replaced, especially when so much has been said by you about the horrors of foreign entities interfering with US elections. The hypocrisy was so blatant and obvious even for a politician, I had to double check I wasn't watching SNL or the Onion.
What made it all the more painful was the fact that you were speaking about Israel, when you are the self-proclaimed "shomer Yisrael" (Guardian of Israel). And to make matters even worse, you equated prime minister Netanyahu as an obstacle to peace with Hamas. That you could speak with such moral depravity, equating a terrorist group who still has hostages and promises to try again and again to rape, torture and murder Jews whenever they can to a democratically elected leader of an ally whose policies you don't like is disgusting in its own right, but a tremendous spit in the face to your constituents who cheered you on as you stated your unflappable support of Israel and Jewish people.
Far from unflappable, you have cowered to the ever-growing antisemitic chorus in the country and within your own party which delegitimizes Israel and undermines its attempts to protect its own citizens. You have become a Hamas useful idiot.
I write this out of disgust for what you have said, but not out of fear. The land and people of Israel do not rely on the empty words of a cowardly politician with no backbone or moral clarity, but on the true Shomer Yisrael, the One who neither sleeps nor slumbers.
