Those are military medics and they're assisting a legitimate army. This is a civlllian assisting a terror organization. If he dies he'll be counted as a civillian death.

Israel has been warning civilians to move to southern Gaza as it attacks targets in the north, a task that has proven difficult – if not impossible – for many Palestinians in the enclave. Civilians have not been able to leave Gaza in large numbers since the war began; groups of foreign nationals and some injured Palestinians were allowed out of the enclave recently.

According to the IDF spokesman, there are less than 100k people left. That certainly seems like it was indeed possible for about 1 million civilians to leave. I'd say that qualifies as "in large numbers"

Interesting development, Israel denies WH announcement and says they agreed to no such thing and there have been no changes in their plans or policies. Either the WH had a major miscommunication, or is attempting to publicly bully Israel into daily pauses that they've been resisting. Not a good look either way...
