Historically, the US has specifically asked, at times forcefully, Israel not to involve itself in US fights, even when they impacted Israel. This was especially true in the gulf war.

Take out these sites as if the attacks were launched at Israel. That is what the US did for Israel.

Removing ourselves from the vacuum of the war in Israel for a second, if our bases were attacked and the US didn't respond, wouldn't you have a problem with that? And if you didn't, for whatever reason (could be legitimate, strategy or whatever), why would you have a problem with another American calling out the government for not responding to attacks on our soldiers? Why is that bashing our country? How is that not an expression of patriotism? He may not be correct, and there may be very legitimate strategic  reasons for the US to not respond, but that doesn't mean he's coming from a place that needs to be called out.

Criticizing Trump's foreign policy was somehow not called "bad mouthing the US".

I don't know anything about the subject to even have an opinion about whether the US should have made these strikes weeks ago, if they are insufficient, or too much. But someone else having an opinion doesn't mean they are bad mouthing the US.

America has virtually always had Israel's back, infinitely more than any other country. For that I am extremely grateful. There are times when even that support comes with certain pressures I believe have been harmful to Israel. And there have been times I believe the US has not had Israel's back. Criticizing them then doesn't minimize or cancel out the gratitude.

Not really feasible. They have to let the families know, and then the media finds out anyway. Better the announcement comes from the military so people don't lose trust and think that they are being lied to.

So why publish it in the media for all to see and lament the almost daily casualties?  Surely the gov, media and bereaved families can come to an understanding to keep it as private as possible for the sake of welfare of the country and its morale etc...

They have differences and that is fair game. I don't see Israel saying anything about the US response to these attacks. All I see from Israel is nothing but gratitude towards the US. Israel is not the problem.

They have differences and that is fair game. I don't see Israel saying anything about the US response to these attacks. All I see from Israel is nothing but gratitude towards the US. Israel is not the problem.

This is the Israel/Hamas war. The US does not want it escalating and they especially don't want to be dragged into it. Anything they do takes that into the calculation.

Are you serious? When a two-year-old hits a 20-year-old should they hit them back every time?
There was a drone strike that hit a barracks where it didn't explode. It would have killed many US servicemen. If that would have exploded many of you would have got your wish.

There is an Israel/Hamas war going on. No need to worry about the US.
