According to the report, the apartment in which Al-Arouri was targeted served as a Hamas office that was vacated following October 7. It was reused for the first time on Tuesday, the day of the assassination.
Lebanese authorities investigating the incident reportedly did not determine whether the airstrike was carried out by a fighter jet or drone with at least two missiles fired at the target. Before the strike, fighter jets were detected over the sea and Beirut.
The report adds: "Sources said three holes appeared in the roof of the building, and that the missiles were of a small size, but carried an explosive warhead containing highly explosive materials, and were not of the type used to demolish the building, but rather to kill those in it."
