צה"ל הודיע על יציאתה של אוגדה 36 מרצועת עזה, כחלק מתוכנית הלחימה. האוגדה לקחה חלק משמעותי בלחימה והשתתפה בפירוק המסגרות הצבאיות של חמאס בצפון הרצועה. עוד נמסר מצה"ל כי ברצועה נותרו כעת 3 אוגדות לוחמות, לצד כוחות מיוחדים, אשר ממשיכות להילחם בכלל חלקי הרצועה.

According to N12 news, Iran, Hezbollah & Hamas had planned a multi-front invasion of Israel. The plan wasn't activated as timing of the Hamas assault surprised Iran axis, US warnings & large military deployment discouraged Tehran.
