It isn't a ceasefire proposal. It's an Israeli surrender proposal.
Absolutely Asinine!

““The text of Hamas' proposal for a deal with Israel

The Lebanese Al-Akhbar newspaper, which is often used as a mouthpiece promoting the interests of Hamas and Hezbollah, published this morning the text of Hamas' deal proposal, as provided to the mediators.

The main points of the proposal in brief:

1. The cessation of military activity in preparation for the complete cessation and the withdrawal of IDF forces to the surrounding areas.
2. Hudna of 135 days in three stages of 45 days each during which all the Israeli abductees and the bodies of the Israelis in the Gaza Strip will be released in exchange for the Palestinian prisoners and bodies held by Israel.
3. Preventing Jews from entering the Temple Mount and returning the situation on the Mount to what it was before 2002.
4. The restoration of the Gaza Strip and international guarantees.

And now for the details according to the three stages:

The first stage (45 days) -

Hamas requirements and conditions for this stage:

1. A complete (and mutual) cessation of military activity in the Strip, including air activity.

2. Withdrawal of IDF forces from the inhabited areas in the Gaza Strip to the border line (with Israel, as it was on October 6th -AA).

3. The release of all Israeli abductees under the age of 19 (who are not soldiers), as well as the elderly and the sick whose names were previously agreed upon (referring to the hudna agreement of the month of November -AA) in exchange for the release of all the Palestinian prisoners imprisoned in Israel who are younger than 19 or older than 50, as well as the sick among them, in addition to 1,500 Palestinian prisoners named by Hamas, of which 500 are serving life sentences.

4. Completing the necessary steps to ensure that the prisoners who were released for the offenses for which they were imprisoned are not re-arrested.

5. Improving the conditions of the remaining Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons and removing the restrictions imposed on them since October 7.

6. Preventing Jews from entering Al-Aqsa (the entire Temple Mount square) and restoring the situation to what it was before 2002.

7. The introduction of a minimum of 500 aid trucks per day into the Strip, including fuel.

8. The return of all the displaced people to their homes all over the Strip without movement restrictions.

9. The opening of all Gaza crossings for the movement of people and goods without restrictions, including the departure of men, women and children for treatment outside the Gaza Strip without any restrictions.

10. Supply of heavy engineering equipment for clearing rubble, equipment for civil defense and equipment for the Ministry of Health.

11. The rehabilitation of the hospitals and bakeries in the entire strip.

12. Brining in of all the equipment needed to set up residential camps, including: 60 thousand temporary residential buildings (trailers and containers) at a rate of 15 thousand per week.
The introduction of 200,000 tents at a rate of 50,000 per week.

13. The beginning of infrastructure restoration all over the Strip, including water, electricity and communication infrastructures.

14. Approval of a comprehensive plan for the rehabilitation of all the residential buildings, commercial buildings and public buildings that were destroyed as a result of the fighting within a practical schedule of three years.

15. Renewal of all the humanitarian aid provided to the residents of the Gaza Strip and especially the functioning of UNRWA - as it was before October 7.

16. Supplying the diesel needed to operate the power plant in Gaza and needed for all sectors in the Gaza Strip.

17. Israel must be forced to meet the needs of the Gaza Strip in the area of electricity and water.

18. The beginning of the indirect talks to reach a complete calm agreement.

The exchange of prisoners will be closely related to the degree of implementation of the aid income.

Egypt, Turkey, Qatar, Russia and the United Nations will guarantee the implementation of this agreement.

These are Hamas' demands for the first stage.” Abu Ali

Israel should threaten to annex the Temple Mount if all hostages aren’t unconditionally returned to Israel within a week.

That, or a section of Northern Gaza that they will annex and settle.

This is what leftist protests that pressure the Govt to make a deal "B'chol Mechir!" do.

Nah. This is too cheap of a price for the בכל מחיר. See the tweet I posted about the Gilad Shalit Deal.

And they don't really mean בכל מחיר. If you would offer them to say Bibi stays prime minister for the next 8 years, judicial reform happens, and their anarchy isn't allowed to continue unchecked in exchange for release of all hostages, they wouldn't agree.

Why waste so many words, they could have just said "Hamas and UNRWA will guarantee the implementation.

In the second stage all Israeli Jews will voluntarily jump into the Mediterranean one mile away from the shore. "

Threats won't work. If Hamas is actually threatened they'll just kill all the hostages instead.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Do they not have the ability to do 2 cities at once ?
It just seems like as they focus on 1 place  the terrorists & hostages move to the next location.

That's the smallest issue here. Raffah is sensitive because of Egyptian concerns (Raffah borders with Egypt) and because most of the Gazan civllians are in that area now.

Kerem Shalom was used to check all trucks crossing at Raffa crossing (both into and out of Gaza), but the protests got in the way of that.

If a journalist realizes that anything can be in those trucks the military must realize it too.
They must be doing the checks elsewhere.
