Meh. Does it matter? If it’s what allows for them to save face and not to “retaliate”, then it might serve us well.

I think it does matter. I can't speak to which consideration outweighs the other, but Hamas and Hizbollah's number #2 men being taken out means a lot, especially if it is amplified all over in the ME. Which is clearly why they're not going the crying funeral route...

For Hezbollah it would be new. For Hamas to hide deaths of combatants is SOP.
