I guess I mixed up two points at once, my point us unclear
One, it's cute how they keep eliminating "top commanders", it's a ridiculous pr spin.
Two, no matter how many actual top commanders you eliminate, there will always be someone to take their place. Yes, you may shake them for a bit, maybe a few years, but it's not a permanent solution. Like mowing the grass. Gives you a nice lawn, lasts a certain amount of time and you gotta do it again.
As part of a multi pronged strategy, sure, scare the Iranians and Lebanese and Syrians with your amazing capabilities, and drain some of the charisma from the upper levels.
But without changing the facts on the ground at the same time, you aren't helping. Hezbollah is still arrayed against Israel. Gazans still hate Israel and are willing to use any drop of aid they get to hurt Israel instead of helping themselves.
Forget about the fact that they haven't taken out sinwar or Nasrallah yet.
