Topic Wiki

Here is a site with updated list of airlines flying or not flying:
https://www.passportcard.co.il/article/airlines-at-war/
in Hebrew

If it says, for example:
לא (כל הטיסות מבוטלות עד ל05.09)

It means as of now they are not flying until Dec. 5, not including, meaning they are set to restart on Dec 5.

Many airlines keep on pushing off the restart date.

Airlines flying and cities currently served to TLV - as of 11/11/24 (from the passportcard site, ones verified by the DDMS are in Blue)

List sorted by destination airport code (for those who prefer this format) - Last updated 11/13 (12/15: added Aegean and Azerbaijan)
Note that daily refers to flights but not necessarily airlines. List derived from Ben Gurion flight boards but is only from Ben Gurion. Still, flights usually run both ways (anyone want to write this in, fine, but I'm done). If you pay for it then no
What do you mean if I pay? vs point? I know other airlines, especiallly domestic, will cancel a double booking.

Interesting DP. My SILs Arkia flight to BCN for tomorrow is delayed by 4 hours, which would cause her to miss her self connection to AC BCN-YUL-ORD, booked on UA.
UA supervisor agreed to waive the fare difference to put her on a UA flight the next day, after verifying the story with her Arkia ticket. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Anyone know if delays these days (on Arkia) are eligible for compensation under IL or EU laws?
There’s no security threat in place, they’re just backed up from Motzei Shabbos’s cancellations.

Likely falls under exclusions for stuff out of the airlines control.

Delta is scheduled to begin flying JFK direct to TLV on June 7, 2024. I booked for later date in June. I assume it is uncertain, but is Delta  likely to keep with that start date or postpone it?

Still no commitment to return,

"Our daily flight from Newark to Tel Aviv remains canceled through May 2. We continue to closely monitor the situation and will make decisions on all upcoming flights with a focus on the safety of our customers and crews."
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
