What are you seeing with aegean?
Everything I see via ATH is only bookable on EK (which is not a UA partner

Aegean is showing as revenue but not on UA.com
Several United agents said they cannot rebook on Aegean
But they agreed to rebook on other *A like Austrian.
Just that the early morning flights are full or too expensive and they make you go on the later flight which requires an overnight stay in VIE

Will AF rebook the CDG-TLV leg on elal if cancelled with there new codeshare?

Trying to get back to TLV from DTW next week.
Was booked on UA for May 7.

Can't find anything with only one stop on any Star Alliance airlines.
Anyone have any luck getting put on Delta / Air France from United?

Only other options is with 2 stops which would mean having to stay overnight bec I can't do 3 flights back-to-back.

The 2 stop option would be May 7 night DTW-FRA, May 8 morning FRA-SKG (Thessaloniki), then stay there overnight and fly May 9 SKG-TLV.


Any other ideas? (I can also do similar with a stop in Athens instead of Thessaloniki but I was just in Athens)

I tried booking one before I booked with ELAL/Virgin and it got changed. I booked through Chase Travel to fly out of TLV on 4/7 on an Air France ticket with the flight leaving TLV as a KLM flight operated by AF leaving at 445 AM. I got a notification from Chase that AF changed the ticket to departing on AF at 430 PM instead. Although Priceline, Chase Travel and Skyskanner all show an AF flight operated by KLM leaving at 445 AM on 4/7, AF does not show that flight and I would assume that was why my flight was changed by AF.

What a bracha, although at the time i was annoyed that it was an additional $200 to go with ELAL to London and Virgin to NY on 4/7 and the same combo for the return on 5/2. BH my daughter was able to get back to seminary yesterday and only because AF changed the ticket and I booked her on the VS/LY combo.

These combo's are usually only available thru OTA's, I don't see why a VS flight to London or a LY flight to TLV should get cancelled but if it gets cancelled the OTA will rebook you same as the airline directly (it just might take a bit longer as the OTA will reach out to the airline to change)

was asking if i book vs lhr-tlv which is signifatlny less
also you are saying from experience that OTA will rebook?

Have a Delta flight booked in July using AF miles and trying to figure out what will happen if/ when delta will cancel the flight.

At the moment the flight is very inconvenient as it was pushed back with 12 hrs and there is no one to talk to, as delta claims it's not their ticket and AF claiming that they could only rebook me in same class.

Anyone had a similar situation that the delta flight was cancelled and AF rebooked them on direct elal flight?

Priceline rebooked my end of May TLV-LHR leg of a VS flight, switching it to LY.  However it took 3 or 4 different calls to their support line and almost 2 weeks to get it rebooked.  If I had booked directly with VS it would have been easier and less stressful...but Priceline was about half the price that VS was showing when I originally booked.
