My flight is 8/21 booked with Delta via Priceline. I spent already hours on the phone with Delta most reps are claiming that the flight is not canceled yet, and they can't place me on ElAl.
I argue with them that it's all over the news that Delta canceled till September, but so far I speak to a wall.
Anyone has an official Memo from Delta where I can refer to?

Problem is that all reps keep on saying that they still see the flights scheduled.
I am doing every hour HUCA, I make every rep placing on my reservation a note that I called, I am scared that ElAl inventory gets to null. It's 8 passengers reserved individually with separate PNR and I prefer having 1 flight for all. בדיעבד I can split half family with my wife and half with me etc...
But so far no luck. They claim news is fake news...
Spoke to over 5 separate reps... frustrating..
I am a medallion gold member, but I booked with Priceline.  1 reps said that since I booked with Priceline they have to request the change...

Burech Hashem I am now on the phone, and after an hour, I am being booked on AF. Return flight they had available on ElAl for all 8 on 1 flight. That's is for Sept 2 when DL & UA didn't officially cancel yet, that's why El Al has enough availability.
Now let's hope AF will fly Aug 22. Hopefully this whole scare from Iran should be over by than.

Booked DL points on LY for this week, but want to go later, DL says they can't change to anything that is not an award, and there is no availability. Any way around this?

From my experience HUCA. Ideally you should try to get to Global Specialist, as the regular agents probably don't even know that there is a war now in Israel....
They kept asking me where I got the news from etc..
I guess non-jews are not so invested and informed in this Middle East situation.

Thoughts on whether once the war really starts whether we will see ElAl availability because of people cancelling? Have two tickets that I had to move to September 7 for JFK-TLV that I really need to be a week earlier

I had family that was on a cancelled UA84 flight on Sunday.  They requested a refund and UA came back and said that since their outbound happened to be a an expensive premium economy ticket there was no residual value to be returned when this was converted to a one way ticket.  Anyone ever faced this ridiculous response from UA and had luck resolving?

Waiver is in place until the 6th so in theory if the space is there.....

Really strange. I’ve rebooked or helped rebook ten people, most in the first few days even before any flights were cancelled. The moment I said the words travel waiver, it was smooth sailing
