So my J seats for summer are cancelled by UA, if I don't do anything are they recoverable when UA comes back? Would it be better to book something, say to ATH, for the future to keep it like a placeholder?

Living in Baltimore, I think I agree, but for a different reason. It's anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours drive each way to IAD. Or, a 12 minute car ride to the train station in Baltimore where I can take it directly to EWR. It might take longer to get to the airport, but it's much easier.

Arkia has always been an operational disaster. I’d choose ElAl or Israir over them, especially if you’re connecting to another flight.

You can probably get a points refund but you'd possibly have to pay a cancellation fee, simply contact chase travel for your options +1-855-234-2542

Tell Chase that your original Delta flight was canceled and they should be able to refund you without a fee.

My flight from TLV to YUL with Austrian was canceled and my only option seems to be to book elal to Athens. but unfortunately Austrian is refusing to change the departure from TLV to any other European city. Does anyone have any advice?
