Here is a site with updated list of airlines flying or not flying:
https://www.passportcard.co.il/article/airlines-at-war/
in Hebrew

If it says, for example:
לא (כל הטיסות מבוטלות עד ל05.09)

It means as of now they are not flying until Dec. 5, not including, meaning they are set to restart on Dec 5.

Many airlines keep on pushing off the restart date.

Airlines flying and cities currently served to TLV - as of 11/11/24 (from the passportcard site, ones verified by the DDMS are in Blue)

List sorted by destination airport code (for those who prefer this format) - Last updated 11/13 (12/15: added Aegean and Azerbaijan)
Note that daily refers to flights but not necessarily airlines. List derived from Ben Gurion flight boards but is only from Ben Gurion. Still, flights usually run both ways (anyone want to write this in, fine, but I'm done). Virgin tells  me they will only rebook on LY to LHR,  not direct to NYC. Even though no availability on the stopover for same day. They will do next day with stopover.
Has anyone gotten rebooked direct on LY?

@shmooz  were you able to work anything out?

I have Virgin booked for after Yom Kippur via LHR. Any educated guess if they will restart by then? Should I proactively ask to be put on LY for LHR-TLV, will they offer anything before they actually cancel?

No, they said they can't rebook on direct. I didn't see anyone saying it was possible.

Based on the fact that they haven't flown since Oct 7th its unlikely but nobody really knows and it all really depends on what doing then

My  prizes from CV :)

Why doesn’t someone charter 2 747 jets for the next 2 months , just back and forth the whole time from ny to Tlv.

with Elal sold out for the next 2 months , it can be filled up no time at a premium price

I know someone that was already rebooked with El Al and he was on the phone with Delta about his flight and they told him that all delta award flights that was rebooked on El Al will not be honored and will be canceled. The agent changed over his ticket to a Virgin ticket without any legs with El Al.

Did anyone else heard anything about it? Does it makes sense that they will cancel tickets?

Does anyone know what happens if I am booked on Delta with comfort+ and my flight gets canceled? Do I lose the comfort+ when getting rebooked on elal or air France?

If I booked through Delta and the return flight is on KLM, what happens if Delta cancels? Will they rebook me on Elal both way, or leave the return flight on KLM?

Booked w/UA miles on Austrian for next week.  Was just canceled.  Called UA to rebook family to Athens (ORD-ATH), and I'll deal with ATH-TLV separately (Arkia, Bluebird, etc.).   They had 4 out of 5 seats for economy. There is an available seat in premium economy, but b/c I don't have status, they won't book the 5th seat in that class.  I spoke to a supervisor, who told me she's the final point of contact, and she said she could lose her job if she broke the policy of booking the 5th ticket in a class different than the one originally booked. Anyone have suggestions/workaround/magic words to tell the next agent?

They would leave you on KLM, if KLM cancels, they’ll rebook you on ElAl.

Don’t think anyone would book you in a higher class than you booked in.
You can try booking the 4 in Economy and hope the 5th one opens up later.

Don't see Smartwings referenced in Dan's master thread on main site regarding flight statuses.  Website seems to indicate they're flying to TLV, but anyone have experience?  Their flights PRG-TLV seem very cheap this week (assuming Ben Gurion reopens later in the week).
