Here is a site with updated list of airlines flying or not flying:
https://www.passportcard.co.il/article/airlines-at-war/
in Hebrew

If it says, for example:
לא (כל הטיסות מבוטלות עד ל05.09)

It means as of now they are not flying until Dec. 5, not including, meaning they are set to restart on Dec 5.

Many airlines keep on pushing off the restart date.

Is 10:35am(DL) ATH arrival and 11:20am arkia departure doable? Or no Chance? And rather go with Israir 12:15pm?

Arkia does have online check-in for flights departing Athens. But I'd say even without luggage it's too risky, any minor delay or even just taking too long getting off your first flight you'll miss your connection. however I think Israir doesn't offer online check-in ex-ATH so you'd likely need to exit the airport and get your BP at the check-in counter

Alaska and BA showing TLV-LHR-JFK on 3/31

Tried getting a price with BA but errored out.

BA doesnt show TLV-LHR alone

Did they extend? Is it phantom?

Looking to bring my daughter back from Seminary the week before Pesach - Delta is showing refundable NS flights. Any thoughts on whether they will be flying and/or if rebooking is possible if not? Date for flight is April 6 or 7.

Delta has been rebooking people on El Al...
It's basically a free lottery ticket where the two options are refunds and discounted El Al tickets
(The opportunity cost of not booking until later notwithstanding)

Provided that there are still seats available on Elal at the time of rebooking.

NS=non-stop? bec I dont see any airline with that IATA code that flies to IL

The current trend is restoration of service. The fact that they havent canceled those flights, and are still selling tickets shows that A. they want an interest free loan. B. They actualy have a desire to opperate the flights, unlike AA and United.
We'll know better after Jan 20/25 (the end date of the lebanon ceasefire...) but it seems a safeish bet to me. (unless your daughter MUST be home for pesach no matter what, and you'll pay anything to get her on any flight if the DL flight gets canceled...)

These are NS from Israel not to Israel.

Any airline that flies from Israel must fly to IL.

You obviously have no idea what I meant by IATA code. It's a short code that is shorthand for a specific airline (two letter) or airport (three letter). If you pay attention, you'll see it all over the forums.
AA, DL, LY, B6, N9
JFK, LAX, LHR, TLV...

When you wrote that delta had NS flights from TLV... I immediately Googled NS airline code to see who this new Delta partner serving TLV is... ;D

Thank you - I am familiar with the code names from being on DD and reading other people's posts, but don't know anything about the search you performed.

I can say that Delta is offering the non-stop service in April on its website.

What he meant to say was, that he misread your post and thought that you had invented a new Airline called "NS".
The only rule when it comes to flying is that it is all UP IN THE AIR!

There are direct flights in the low $400s FCO/JFK round trip. Some pre-and-post Pesach dates included. Those in Israel can combine this with an TLV/FCO connection using an Israeli airline for relatively cheap, I think.

I just noticed this on Virgin's website. Has it been there the whole time?
Any chance they're going to bring the flights forward - nothing comes up with the search

Id normally read the thread but there's 111 pages so....

What is the best option (1 stop, elal is $$$) to israel these days, booking a few months out. Self transfer with airlines that are currently flying? I doubt it's smart to book with other airlines that are selling but not currently flying.

Feel free to point me to a specific spot in the thread and I can read down from there
Jury Duty: Nothing to do there but chill and write a TR. Kinda like the beach but missing the view and ocean breeze.

Anyone has any experience with Aegean air transferring luggage on 2 separate bookings
I booked a flight from TLV-ATH and then ATH-ZRH-YUL
TLV-ATH and ATH-ZRH are operated by Aegean will they send my luggage all the way to YUL or at least ZRH?

I hope you didn't book a tight connection. Aegean has been delaying flights out of TLV regularly since they started back in December. We just misconnected on the 730/830 am TLV ATH ZRH connection this week.
