In the past AF did that LCA stop as crew didn't want to step foot in Israel. I receive nice compensation per EU law

You are right. I didn't realize that. With a flight time over 4 hours it is probably a matter of willingness to risk crew timing out on a delay in TLV.

I’m seeing delta direct flights for May from JFK. If they do end up cancelling last min, will they rebook me, or am I up the creek and need to rebook myself via LY?
