They rebooked me. But didn't say which class. I'm assuming not J, especially due to the large group. But I'll see when I get the email confirmation within an hour. I'm just happy to be going!

No, original class was A
Did u get a seat already? Virgin air website is saying to go to partner airline to get seats. Elal website isn't pulling up the reservation.
Also, will we have to pick up luggage in Heathrow, or will it be checked all the way through?

I had 5 points tickets TLV-LHR-JFK on Virgin Atlantic. They rebooked the TLV-LHR leg on LY. When I logged into LY's website (using the ticket #) to manage my booking I saw I was able to reserve the extra space seats for free!!

VS gave me the LY booking code over the phone, or as mentioned, you can login with the ticket number.

Luggage can officially be checked all the way through. Although there is increased risk of it being delayed/lost when checking in on airlines that don't often transfer to one another.

On my TLV-LHR I too was able to get the premium seats for free. But the LHR-TLV they wanted to charge me. I pass.

I tried booking one before I booked with ELAL/Virgin and it got changed. I booked through Chase Travel to fly out of TLV on 4/7 on an Air France ticket with the flight leaving TLV as a KLM flight operated by AF leaving at 445 AM. I got a notification from Chase that AF changed the ticket to departing on AF at 430 PM instead. Although Priceline, Chase Travel and Skyskanner all show an AF flight operated by KLM leaving at 445 AM on 4/7, AF does not show that flight and I would assume that was why my flight was changed by AF.

I think they’re still showing some flights but I’m sure they’ll be cancelled soon. My May 1 from TLV to AMS was cancelled and family member also had a KLM flight cancelled around pesach. Their website “travel alerts” still shows old data with cancellations and waiver only through March 30. I’ve tried for weeks to change flights in anticipation, but they wouldn’t do anything- kept saying “the flight is still operating.” I checked it yesterday after my brother got his cancellation email and the app showed the cancellation- only got email from them today.

Or maybe they still plan to operate evening flights with no overnight in TLV. My flight was morning.

Correction- email from klm has same flight number (462) and says it’s “delayed” not cancelled. Time changed from 4:45 AM to 4:25 PM (requiring sleepover in AMS to make US connection).

I had a KLM/Delta flight that has a misconnect due to the KLM schedule change. Delta refuses to rebook nonstop.
