I'm curious did they do anything with the planes flying daily to TLV yet? Did they add capacity to some other routes?

that’s what I was told by two agents and a supervisor, but need to wait until October 3rd for this to be confirmed since they need to “finalise their commercial agreements”. Unfortunately, the LY flight they can reaccomodate me on gets in 1:25 before the VS flight to MIA so will miss MCT (apparently 90 minutes since LY arrives at T4 in LHR) so the alternative is TLV-LHR on LY and LHR-ATL-MIA on DL arriving 4 hours later than my original flight.

I just received an email stating that the cancellation would appear on the Virgin website on October 5 at which time rebooking options will be made available.

Actually, it appears that it will go to LCA. I guess the crew doesn't want to hang out in Israel.

Was booked on Virgin for the 21st in J using Virgin points, booked during 30% off sale.

I am hoping they will allow me to rebook either on LY on the 27th or 28th (6-7 days later), or potentially on their own DXB flight those same dates. Though in their email they write there would be change in fare if going from different destination, so not counting on that.

I have 4 tickets for EWR-TLV on UA on October 8th. Is there any way I can keep these tickets active by pushing them off? Would United rebook on Lufthansa for a later date?


The refund would be quite paltry due to the very low cost of the tickets.

Israir and Arkia outrageously hiked up prices from ATH & LCA over Yom Tov.
I booked my client from ORD to PRG for 15K Flying blue+$121, and a separate Israir flight for $202.
People should be creative and search SOF, OTP, and other cheap European airports.

Aegean canceled through the 13.

2 AC agents both told me that even if I rebook myself to Belgrade, Serbia, (I have a backup to there on ElAl) they would charge the difference in price to reroute me from there to YUL.

How is that even possible? Any ideas???
