They are offering an $8 protection plan (2 years) but it indicates:

Plan covers:
Accidents like drops, spills, and cracks
Screen failure
Battery failure
Hard Drive failure

Plan includes:
24/7 Customer support
Easy online claims
No deductibles or hidden fees

Anyone ever used the plan for airpods and if so what was your experience?

How much more does apple care+ cost (I heard that they are really good) might be worth looking into that.
