Just thinking last week when trying to get home from Israel with my family we took an ELAL to Milan and had to collect luggage and rechecked on Emirates. This required us to pass customs in Italy

If etias would have been in place I may have not had enough time to obtain a pass for my family and this would have not have been a viable option
