I haven't crunched the numbers, but if you anyway need a NYC-YYZ flight or even a NYC-YYZ-NYC flight it may be worth using LAN still.
good point, i didnt think of that. but the hassle of dealing with lan might outweigh the potential mileage saved since it cant be booked online (i think).
is there any way to find out how much lan will charge on top of the mileage?

95% says yes. Unless a large amount of seats were sold in the interim it will come back. Might take a few hours though

The Eithad site hasn't been updated in years. By now they should all be the new F.

I wonder if the free Chauffeur Drive would pick you up from the Allenby Bridge....
