"Hack" to use hotel amenities without paying nightly or daily rate?

Does anyone know of any methods to use hotel amenities (namely pool) without paying the nightly or daily rate? I know of sites like swimly and Dayuse, but those are still usually over $100 day. Is there any membership, hotel status, or other promotion with any chain which offers access? Looking in the Long Island/Queens area in particular. Thanks!

Your hotel itself might offer it. Also pretty sure Hilton either has or is working on such a program.

I called a few local hotels without luck, except for one which referred me to the dayuse website. If they are already offering the service, you would think that they would prefer that we book directly through them, which will probably save them the commission that they pay to the website, but what do I know.

Hilton already has a day reservation function, you just put in the same day for check-in and checkout, but it didn’t give me the hotel that I wanted, even though it is available on the dayuse website.
