Booked JB with Qatar, tip: call so you get instant confirmation but it takes alot of time on the phone, the agents are not familiar really how to price out the taxes and get flight availability in my experience it took a few calls and chat to finally get it confirmed:
Agent: This will be the breakdown. Total Avios: 34,000 Cash: USD 795.60 B6 1961 LGA B PBI 1529 1836 Would you like to confirm and proceed?
Abraham : It's 34,000 Avios plus an additional $795.60 USD?
Agent: Yes that is correct.
Abraham : Why is there so much cash price attached? Shouldn't it be like $10 per person?
Agent: It will be a total taxes for 4 passengers.
Abraham : Just to be clear Seven hundred and ninety five US dollars and sixty cents? Something is off
Abraham : Or is it seventy nine dollars

It was still an amazing deal per passenger 8500 vs 16200 (1300 with chase bonus) but the higher fees compared to JB was a bit sour
