This reminds me of one time a cousin of mine sent me to WAS to visit the local office of his company, it was located next to a certain airport hotel so I just waited at that hotel shuttle station. All of a sudden a shuttle of a different hotel stops by and the driver addresses me in Hebrew asking where I need to go. When I mentioned my destination he told me to hop on and he would drive me. I was going to ask him "מאיפה יהודי" but was a tad hesitant, so I asked, "מאיפה אתה" to which he answered, "מירושלים, יש לי בית על הר הזיתים" (only Arabs have houses there).

But the Jewish population in this country is comparatively small, and many are unaffiliated.

Women make up half of our 350 million, and of that number, probably 20% or more are liberal/progressive.

So us having 300,000, proportionately, would have been like them having tens of millions come to Washington.

The Women’s March received extensive and prolonged headline coverage because, in essence, the media agreed with them about Donald Trump.

By comparison, we were completely ignored because the media is not particularly sympathetic or Jewish causes.

Case in point: The NY Times coverage of the Holocaust (or lack thereof)

History sadly repeats itself.

The political side was never high in my reasons for attending, but this absolutely electric reception (probably most enthusiastic of the day) will certainly stick with Ritchie Torres for the rest of his (hopefully long) political career.

In my mind I was expecting less than 10k. From this thread now I'd up my number to 20k max (I didn't/don't really look at any other news sites).

At a certain point the front two sections became exit only, so they started thinning out. pictures of those from around 2:30 on would make it seem sparse, but there were multiple packed sections behind them
