I have no need for that speed, I don't think anyone has for that matter (It's just a great marketing tool for Fios),
But I also have a landline with them, and it would be the same price even if I go with lower speeds.

Well you'd have to take into account the amount of likes and divide it by the denominator of the cost of the internet, and then spread it out over monthly speed test posts, assuming standard inflation of forum membership, and the possibility of being posted in the best of DDF thread, as well as not enough likes thread, etc.

Overall I'd say it has the potential of being a great investment!

ETA: If you can make it to the popcorn thread somehow, I'd say a guaranteed return of 10% YoY.
