Banned from Costco online

Has anyone ever had their online Costco account blocked?
Every time I order something the order gets cancelled within a few minutes.
Customer service said I violated the terms and I am permanently banned from buying online.
Has anyone ever experienced this before?

I had it last year. I called and they said there was a security issue. I had to go in store and show my ID. But the store people had no clue what to do. It took a few back and forths but eventually it was resolved.

I have that whenever I try shipping to a buying group the order gets cancelled but when shipping to a regualr adress it goes through fine.

I had that. My wife was a sub on my account. Her orders still get cancelled for security reasons. Mine goes through.  I never figured it out.


Good thing is that when I shop Costco I buy the whole list, but only what is on the list.  Been saving a lot of money with this security issue

I was buying gift cards and kept to the purchasing limit.
I am buying from outside of the country but not sure if that's the issue.
I was successful for a while until they shut me down.

I did none of that. No gift cards, no shipping/buying outside the US, and not buying groups/limits reached.
