Just bought from Groupon yesterday, works fine, just make sure you delete any Office before install, but that's true always.
I have no doubt that this works. But as pointed out above, these are likely enterprise licenses that are not supposed to be resold. I'm not sure what the ramifications are.

Microsoft is 100% aware of what people are doing, some argue they actually prefer it.

And the argument is that the businesses would prefer to use the software most people are comfortable with.
That’s ancient. While it’s true on the macro that they preferred to keep market share by being the gold standard for businesses and consumer piracy was a secondary concern, it doesn’t mean they completely turned a blind eye to piracy. It’s also likely their strategy has since changed.
