I wonder if the developer reads here.

I would suggest that they add an option to pickup from known hitch spots to central locations in other cities.
I travel a lot and would pick up from such spots and they would be used more.

wow, amaizing!! just yesterday I was thinking about this idea when I paid $65 for a 25-minute ride from manhattan.

I am assuming you can rate the driver and customer so this will only be a problem for the first customer/driver, but still a problem. (what does Uber do?)

but I think there is a different problem the way this app works is good for Uber when the driver wants to make money and will go to the person's house and pick them up and then drop them down, but when this is a chesed I think it needs to be the other way around, the driver offering a ride and whoever wants could come to his location and get the ride to the address he is driving to.

Yes, it worked well. IIRC, they aren’t around anymore.

There also needs to be drivers license verification, to ensure that the license you entered is actually yours, and a valid ID.

Wasn’t there a guy in Mosey who was problematic offering rides to women and girls on one of the ride chats pretty recently? There need to be done very robust safeguards to prevent a platform this large from being abused.
