Picking up rental early Q

I have a rental with Thrifty that I made through priceline. The rental rate is for 1 week even though I only have the car for six days.

I have changed my flight so that I will now get in a bit earlier on the pickup day. As a result I will now have the car for seven days instead of six.

I looked into doing a new reservation but the price is now about $80 higher as the sale must be over.

Anyone have experience with what happens. Will they charge me for an extra day even though I am still picking up and returning within the one week period?

Update - called Thrifty and they adjusted the pickup time for the reservation. BH added less than $2 to the total, which I assume is related to taxes as it is now 7 days.
