I'm in shock. I can't even get myself to click on the links to read the articles. This was someone who had such a tremendous part in upholding a elevated spiritual level of the Yeshiva world. He was the definition of the word "profound", he was able to make each individual truly understand the Daas Torah in such a brilliant yet relatable way.
I consider it a compound tragedy because my children have no idea who he was. To them, he was just a picture in a gedolim collection. They had no inkling of the sheer gadlus who was living among us, protecting us and serving as a role model for us.
