i think it should also have a rating system like https://forums.oneplus.net/ has you wouldn't have all these

or +1 +1 posts and there would be no need for that since you can give a 'like' if you want,
and it doesn't add so much clutter in the threads, people have a incentive to write something others like.

That obv infers that there was a valid reason to not do it. Is it at least a reason that has to do with the cost of implementing this or is there a diff reason for not going with a "like" option?

If you are good at math. Go to your profile/show posts, then scroll to the date in question. Write down that number. Scroll to the last page, and write down the # of your 1st post. Subtract the first number you wrote down from the second # you wrote down. This will give you the total posts on that date--including JS.

So for example on Jan 1 2014, you had 1227 posts, including JS.

Yup. You first lose in the "official" post count and then in the "real" post count...

No it is like Amex. You lose the base points but not the 2x.
