some doctors will call in a prescription if you send them an image of the positive test result. Depends on the doctor and your relationship

I doubt a conventional doctors office uses them...maybe in a science lab

There's also a molecular/dna test that is probably more common

uh, fever, stomach ache, headache,test, positive send image, call in prescription, wow, saved at least an hour and going out in the snow to the doctor
